Postcard and article

Well, I thought I had nothing else to say this week, but a couple of new things popped up that I thought I'd share.

 

First of all, you've heard me mention Two Twelve Arts Center many times on this blog, right?  Well, a wonderful article has surfaced on Facebook via Concentrate Media entitled "The Art of Community Building:  Saline's Two Twelve Art Center."  So if you want to catch a little glimpse into a very important part of my world, click this link.  Don't worry, it's safe!  :)

 

And secondly, my Earth challenge piece made it onto the exhibit's postcard!  Yay!  As always, our resident graphic design guru, Keith McGuire, did a beautiful job creating the promotional postcards and posters for the exhibit.  Check it out!

 

 

Forgive the bootlegginess of this image.  I took a picture of a picture.  Anyway, the exhibit will be up from March 4 to April 24, and the opening reception will be Friday, March 8 from 7-9pm.  Folks will be given the opportunity to cast their votes for the People's Choice awards, which will be extremely difficult because there are so many incredible pieces in the show.  But come anyway.  Two Twelve receptions are always a good time!
